It is proposed that by the end of June 2022, the county-level city government will complete the investigation of black and odorous water bodies in the built-up area, and by 2025, the proportion of black and odorous water bodies in the built-up areas of county-level cities will reach 90%.

On August 22-24, 2022, the "2022 Urban Water Environment Conference" was held in Guangzhou, with the theme of "low carbon, green, ecology - towards the "Qing" era" as the theme background, with the main task of publicizing the comprehensive model of water environment governance, relevant policies, excellent cases and technical exchanges, and invited well-known domestic scholars and experts and top R&D companies in the industry as participants, providing a communication platform for the general public to understand the new dynamics of urban water environment governance and new technology industries.
