Case Study | Techase YG Filter Press in Sanmenxia WWTP

As a Techase reporter, today we will go to the largest WWTP in Sanmenxia, interviewing our excellent product — Techase YG filter press.
For the fact that the processing scale of Sanmenxia WWTP is up to 120 thousand tons/day, the amount of the sludge produced each day is enormous. Techase helped the plant lower the moisture content of final output sludge cake from 99.5% to 50% two years ago. The project has been completed for 2 years, let’s go and see the operation effect now!
Without huge plant, the sludge drying room hides in a clean three-storied building. It is reported that the footprint of sludge drying machine was strictly regulated by the plant, which prevented most of the traditional filter presses. Techase designed the duplex structure for saving the floor space.
In order to reduce the operation and labor intensity, Techase adopted PLC terminal automatic control + distributed manual control. Internet remote control and 24 hours unattended operation have been realized.
The sludge with 99.5% moisture content flows from pipes to multi plate screw thickener for thickening. Then the volume of the sludge has been reduced to one tenth of its original size. After conditioning and modification, the sludge enters the filter press system to press and the moisture content of the final output sludge cake lowers to 50%. After that, the conveyer belt transports it to the truck for outward transportation. In the past two years, Techase products, two TCYZ-200-YG filter presses, have been squeezing sludge cake with less than 50% moisture content. Short squeezing time and large working batch make it possible for our products to squeeze more than 20 tons dry solids.
