As a special machinery for sludge treatment, the multi plate screw press is being used by more and more factories and enterprises today. However, if the multi plate screw press is not regularly and effectively maintained during long-term operation, it will be extremely vulnerable to wear and tear. Once this happens, not only the life of the equipment itself will be reduced, but also the economic cost and time of sludge treatment will be greatly wasted.
So how to make the multi plate screw press "life extension"? There are four common wrong operations that will reduce the life of the equipment, let's see what they are!
Four Misunderstandings
1. The equipment lacks regular maintenance data statistics. More than 80% of the multi plate screw press fail due to the lack of regular maintenance or inadequate maintenance of the dewatering body. It can be seen that the establishment of a regular maintenance system for the main body of the dewatering plays a significant role in extending the service life of the stacked screw sludge dewatering machine and improving the work efficiency.
2. The amount of sludge inflow is so high that overload operation exceeds the normal processing capacity of the equipment, the pressure load inside the dewatering body is too large, and the friction between the movable ring and the screw shaft is increased, resulting in wear of the movable ring and the screw shaft. Therefore, the reasonable amount of sludge must be adjusted according to the processing capacity of the whole machine to avoid overload operation.
3. The equipment is not maintained before being shut down for a long time, and the equipment is not cleaned when the equipment is shut down, which will result in residual sludge between the movable ring and the fixed ring gap. After a long shutdown, the residual sludge will dry out, jam or freeze the movable ring. Therefore, when the equipment is shut down, especially for a long time, in order to avoid the drying of the residual sludge between the movable ring and the fixed ring, the main body of the multi plate screw press should be continuously operated for more than half an hour in strict accordance with the requirements of the operating regulations. If necessary, adjust the gap of the backup platen to the maximum so that the sludge can be discharged. After the sludge is completely emptied, the cleaning equipment can be shut down.
4. Avoid hard objects such as large slag blocks, wooden blocks, metal blocks from entering the main body of the equipment. If necessary, a filtering device can be added at the water inlet end, otherwise the movable ring will be blocked and the movable ring and the screw shaft will be worn. Therefore, in order to make the stacked screw sludge dewatering machine continue to operate at high speed, high efficiency, high quality and low cost, the relevant personnel should do the daily inspection and maintenance of the multi plate screw press to extend the main body and supporting facilities service life.
Three Checks
So how should the maintenance work of the stacked screw sludge dewatering machine be done? The first is the inspection of the equipment. Equipment inspection is an effective means to grasp the technical status of equipment in a timely manner and implement equipment condition monitoring and maintenance. It is an important task to ensure the normal operation of equipment by detecting and eliminating hidden dangers of equipment in time to prevent sudden failures and accidents. In general, the inspection of equipment is divided into three types: daily inspection, key inspection and periodic inspection.
Daily Inspection
The daily inspection is to check the technical condition of each part of the equipment according to the prescribed standards in order to find the hidden dangers in time and take countermeasures.
Key Inspection
For key equipment, the operator records the items one by one according to the equipment check card every shift or a certain time. During the inspection, the maintenance personnel can effectively and timely eliminate the abnormalities recorded on the inspection card.
Periodic Inspection
In accordance with the prescribed inspection cycle, maintenance personnel conduct a comprehensive inspection and measurement of the equipment performance. It is found that in addition to the commissioning and resolution at the time, the inspection results must be carefully recorded as a basis for determining the equipment maintenance plan.
