Vietnam is located in the east of Indo-China Peninsula in Southeast Asia, bordering Guangxi and Yunnan in the north, and boarding Laos and Cambodia in the west. Its geographical location is excellent. It is a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and a member of WTO. Since Vietnam reached free trade agreements with South Korea, the Eurasian economic union and ASEAN, Vietnam's foreign trade has grown substantially. It continuously expands the foreign import and export market. Vietnam’s water supply market has huge potential. While 78 percent of the urban population has access to piped water, only 44 percent of the rural population has access to it. More than 300 of the country’s 600 towns and cities do not yet have access to piped water. In some big cities, such as Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi, water supply has not kept up with the city’s rapid growth. At the same time, the problem of water pollution is very serious, which has attracted the attention of the government. Now the government is taking effective measures to treat water pollution. With the support of government, Vietnam's wastewater treatment and related industries will also become a new market for companies to compete with each other.
The trade between China and Vietnam has a long history, in which the main import products are mechanical equipment and parts, refined oil, steel, textile raw materials, leather, cloth and so on. Chinese products are very popular in Vietnam.
From 7 November to 9 November, VIETWATER 2018 was held in Saigon International Exhibition & Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City, which was co-organized by Vietnam Sewage Treatment Association (VWSA). The exhibition has been held annually since it was first held in 2014. It alternates between Ho Chi Minh, the economic center of southern Vietnam, and Hanoi. It has become the most influential branding exhibition in Vietnam and even Southeast Asia. Government officials of Vietnam construction ministry will also attend the opening ceremony and the seminar. It is also the only exhibition in Vietnam that has been recognized by public water network of Southeast Asia and Vietnam tap water association.
In this exhibition, we showed one of the core products of our company, the multi plate screw press. It utilizes the dewatering principles of force-water homo-direction, thin-layer dewatering, proper pressure and extension of the dewatering path. The new equipment, more advanced than the traditional dewatering equipment which are easily blocked, unsuitable for low-concentrated sludge and oily sludge, of high consumption and difficult to operate, well eliminate these problems and are of higher efficiency and power saving. During the exhibition, visitors from Asia and Middle East came to our booth site with great interest in our products for consultation.
