This typical case is Techase multi plate screw press contract for sewage sludge dewatering application that Wuhan KD Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. signed with Shanghai Techase Environment Protection Co., Ltd. (“Techase”). Techase provided two sets of TECH-403 multi plate screw press sludge dewatering machines, one set of TCZB-3000 automatic polymer station which has a preparation capacity of 3000L/h and two sets of DN50 online dilution devices.
The installation site is in sludge dewatering room of Lu’an Sewage Waste Water Treatment Plant. The operating time of TECH-403 multi plate screw press in this project is 12-16h/d. Its amount of dry solids is 3900kg/d. The sludge inlet moisture content is 99.2% -99.3%. And the outlet moisture content of discharged sludge cakes is less than 80%. The capacity of dry solids by single machine is up to 450kg-ds/h. The diameter of the screw shaft is 400mm. There are three groups of screw shafts. Each group can be opened or stopped independently without affect to normal work of other screws.
Main materials of equipment:
The part of multi plate screw press that is in contact with the sludge should be wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant. The specific materials are as follows:
1.Stirrer shaft and blade: SUS304 material;
2.Sludge dewatering body: screw shaft: SUS304 material, surfacing super wear-resistant hard alloy; moving rings & fixed rings: SUS304 material;
3.Back pressure plate: SUS304 material;
4.Body: SUS304 cover plates; the top cover plate has transparent tempered glass inspection windows. The seal cover is designed to be manually opened, which can facilitate the observation of the operation or clean up.
Anti-corrosion treatment process of equipment:
1.The surface of stainless steel should be done acid passivation treatment;
2.Before the packing, rust-proof treatment should be done to the machine surface according to GB4879 standard;
3.If the coating is damaged during transportation and installation, it shall be repaired according to the original coating process. Its quality level is not lower than the quality level of the original coating.

1.Three chambers all-in-one design (pre-mixed tank, homogenous aging tank, solution storage tank) is integrated. It can work continuously. At the same time it’s easy to operate;
2.It meets different needs with the dual feed function of dry powder and liquid (optional) polymer;
3.The inlet water flow rate can be adjusted, and the solution concentration can be arbitrarily adjusted as required;
4.The high-precision transport of dry speculation and the clever design of the pre-wetting device reduces the phenomenon of nodule formation and waste of chemicals, and avoid clogging of pipelines or equipment;
5.The dry powder conveyor has the function of anti-condensation heating and insulation, which effectively avoids the occurrence of moisture agglomerate or deterioration.
6.When the dry powder level in the hopper is too low, an audible visual alarm signal is sent to alert the operator to feed material.
