Project Overview
The project is constructed and operated by SIIC Environmental Water (Dalian) Co., Ltd. Techase is sub-contractor of system design, equipment supply, civil work and installation of sludge dewatering section. The WWTP covers an area of 17,694 square meters and adopts a relatively advanced wastewater treatment process. Its designed scale is 20,000 tons wastewater per day. The main service scope is Shihe Street and surrounding areas, and the wastewater treatment is composed of municipal domestic wastewater treatment within the service scope. The moisture content of the treated dry filter cakes is 60%, and system is transported for disposal. It will be used for greening water in the new area, and the rest of the tail water will be discharged into Puwan New Area as water supply for river landscape. The construction of Houhai Wastewater treatment Plant has not only greatly improved the water environment around the city and the quality of life of the people, but also played an important role in controlling water pollution, protecting the water quality and ecological balance of the local watershed, and creating a relaxed environment for the economic development of the region. , Efficient and beautiful environmental benefits.


The sludge dewatering section of Houhai Wastewater treatment Plant adopts 2 sets of Elaspress®TCYZ-100YG super-high pressure filter presses, Techase® screw-type sludge thickeners and other related system equipment produced by Techase, with a daily treating capacity of 20,000 tons and filter cakes moisture content of 60 %. The sludge cakes are transported out of the plant for disposal, and filtrate is used as green water after advanced treatment. The overall treatment result strictly conforms to the construction planning standards of the plant. Compared with the previous filter press projects, this project is different, that is, glass deodorizing covers are designed on site, and two supper-high pressure filter presses are placed in it, which can effectively regulate the overall layout of the workshop and prevent The odor is diffused, and the environment of the entire sludge dewatering workshop is cleaner and more beautiful at the same time of efficient deep dewatering.

 

 


Process Flow
This project adopts integrated sludge deep dewatering technology. First, the sludge to be treated is sent to the sludge storage tank for buffer storage, and then sent to the multi plate screw type sludge thickener through the raw sludge feeding pump, and at the same time, a certain ratio of PAM solution is pumped into the sludge thickener. In the thickener, the sludge conditioned by PAM is concentrated in the thickener to reduce the moisture content of the sludge to about 96% and flow out. After thickening, the sludge is gravity flowed to the FeCl3 reaction tank for further conditioning. The conditioned sludge is then pumped into the Techase YG supper-high pressure filter press through the sludge pump for deep dewatering, and the moisture content of the sludge is reduced to about 60%. The filtrate in the process of concentration and pressing is sent to the sludge pipeline well beside the dehydrator and returned to the water collecting well in the plant area.
