Case Study | Taicang Nanjiao Sewage Treatment Plant

Updated:2020-11-13 15:43

With the development of science and technology, automation technology has been widely promoted, and more and more automation products have been applied to our life. So what will happen when automation is applied to sewage treatment plants?

Accompanied by the patter of light rain, in rows of neat buildings, we arrived at Taicang Nanjiao Sewage Treatment Plant, one of the largest sewage treatment plants in Taicang.

The sewage treatment plant, located at the junction of Shanghai and Taicang, has a daily treatment capacity of 40,000 tons and has maintained the ecological balance between water quality and green environmental construction in the local watershed since its establishment. This time Techase would take you to Taicang Nanjiao Sewage Treatment Plant. Let’s have a look at the later operation of the project!

Blue sky, misty drizzle. We arrived. Techase’ sludge dewatering equipment room was located in a white building. Walking into the sludge dewatering room, the two 404 series Techase multi disc screw presses were working stably. The site layout was reasonable, clean and quiet. Looking around, we didn’t see any staff. At this moment, one staff came into the dewatering room, he said that no human presence was required during the entire sludge dewatering process, which could reduce the labor cost greatly.

IOT Control System

Unique internet of things remote control system made operation easy and convenient. User could set the program according to the running time and the automatic control system, and realize automatic control without manual guard for 24 hours.

After more than one year of operation, the two 404 series Techase multi disk screw presses still operated stably. The design structure was semi-embedded, from sludge conditioning, concentration, dewatering to sludge cake transmission, the whole process was automatic and systematic. In addition to automatic control, due to its extensive sources of sewage, the treatment process would produce odorous smell. In order to prevent the situation, Techase adopted fully closed design with pneumatic spring observation window, which could avoid odor diffusion and could intuitively know the operation of the equipment. The operation site was clean and has no odor smell.

Moisture Content of Final Output Sludge Cake: 80%

Looking at the sludge trucks going far away, we’ve always believed that although the road to environmental protection is long and difficult, there would be many difficulties and challenges. Looking at the processing results, customers’ satisfaction, and the difficulties that have been overcome for environmental construction. Techase would continue to innovate and solve environmental problems, adhere to our environmental philosophy, and make efforts to build a green and harmonious environment and energy business!
